The National Mining Hall of Fame & Museum will celebrate its 10th anniversary in 1997 with special events currently in the planning stages, says President and Executive Director Carl Miller.
Miller, who was recently elected to the State House in District 61, has been at the helm of the NMHF&M since its beginnings in 1987. He plans to continue in his position at the museum “as long as it doesn’t interfere with my legislative duties.”

Admission is $2.00 for children ages 6-12; $3.50 for adults; $3.00 for seniors ages 62 and over. Children under age six are admitted free. Group rates are also available; call ahead to schedule.
