Last month, we ran several articles about how Adams State College in Alamosa is responding to major changes in the way that state colleges are governed.
And we said we’d have a similar piece about Western State College in Gunnison this month. But the constraints of space and time hit us, so look for the WSC piece in the November edition.
The small public colleges in our region are not only educational institutions for undergraduates, but they’re also important to community and cultural institutions, and to local economies.
