New Mexico Magazine has a regular feature called “One of our 50 is missing,” and has anecdotes about how many Americans forget that New Mexico is in the United States.
Indeed, we had a friend who, while staying in Boston, wanted to mail a package to a friend in Albuquerque — and the postal clerk wanted her to fill out a customs form.
However, if New Mexico is indeed missing, we can learn what took its place from this map in the April 12 edition of the Wall Street Journal. The story was about U.S. Senate races this year.
Just look for “CO” on the map, somewhat south of the Colorado we thought we lived in. Must be another example of how the Biased East- Coast Liberal Media fail to understand the Great American Heartland, or something like that.
