In our October edition, columnist Hal Walter wrote about his efforts to dispatch a resident pack rat which had been worse than annoying. Neither his dog nor his cat seemed interested in the nesting rodent.
However, feline nature eventually took its course. We received this message from Hal on Sept. 22: “It should be noted that our cat finally got down to business last night. All that was left was the tail and one hind leg/foot.”
