Editors:
I have just devoured the March edition from cover to cover. Some issues are just chock-full of stuff, others are ho-hum to me and so it goes, right?
I did love the quote on page 9: “I wasn’t inclined to argue…” I think I shall adopt it as my motto. And I did like the next quote, too, goes right along with your stupid zone [about the lack of rural health care].
When I drove to Denver I got a Flume in Fairplay with the photo of that poor gelding and the “after” picture which gladdened my heart. You forgot to mention that Cody Quick already bought another horse. But the neighbors know about the last one and are watching with eagle eyes.
I was some place, can’t remember where, where they had those safe crossing signs in the middle of the street, it sure is an eye catcher and I love them.
But George Sibley’s column on page 31, “The most important of the freedoms,” really hit the spot. I was born to great riches and then they were all gone. If one had money, one could not buy a thing with it. And when you think that I and others are just always one month away from devastation, it is really scary.
Also loved Hal Walter’s column, but I want to know where his first-aid kit was. Shouldn’t one be kept in every car? And how does he share the baby sitting or does his darling wife go to work after?
