About the Cover Artist: Tim Brown

Since 1982 Tim Brown has been traveling the globe experiencing and photographing the people and places of various locations. His passion for adventure, humankind and good lighting has led him to embark on over 50 trips to Central and South America, Southeast Asia and Indonesia, as well as numerous travels throughout the United States and Mexico, to name a few. Some of his editorial and advertising clients include National Geographic, Sports Illustrated, Patagonia Clothing, Outside Magazine, Chrysler Automobiles and Time-Warner.
He resides in Salida when he’s not on the road, paddling a river or perhaps resting in a hammock somewhere. Tim recently renovated a historic building in downtown Salida which is now his home, studio and gallery.
